History of Radio
Our speaker tonight was Ray Chase (aided by Joe Bentrovato) from the NJ Antique Radio Club (njarc.org). The subject was an overview of the history of Radio, with emphasis on the first half of the 20th century.
Lions Club Meeting 4/16/03
Tonights meeting was held at the East Brunswick Chateau - it was a joint meeting with the South Brunswick, Milltown, and Cranbury Lions Clubs. Each Club named their Lion of the Year - the Cranbury Lion of the Year can be seen immediately above. Below is a scene from the meeting.

Tom Reilly was named the recipient of the Lions Clubs International Melvin Jones Fellowship Award. This is the highest award presented by Lions Club International to an individual Lion:
Our Speaker tonight was the Branch Manager of the Princeton Area Red Cross - Joyce Wackenhut. She spoke to the Lions about the history and activities of the Red Cross, with special emphasis on their role in the aftermath of September 11.
