Friends of the Cranbury Public Library

The  Friends of the Cranbury Public Library is a not-for-profit organization, founded in 1994. The common interest and goal of our members is to have the best library services possible. FCPL's meetings and programs are open to the public.

Voted Outstanding Friends Group in 1997 by the Libraries of Middlesex, the FCPL have donated hundreds of books, videos, CDs, DVDs, 2 literary stations for children,  and reference materials in the past 12 years. In addition, the Friends have donated and continue to donate furniture and materials, sponsor programs and provide hospitality at Library events.

The Friends invite library and book lovers to join in supporting the Cranbury Public Library. While some members support the Friends simply by paying their annual dues, volunteer opportunities abound and many of our members donate both time and talent. We would love to have you join us!

The Friends’ Museum Pass Program – All Cranbury Public Library adult cardholders may check out free passes to 3 of the area’s popular museums: Children’s Museum of Manhattan, Grounds for Sculpture, and American Museum of Natural History. You can call the library at 655-0555 and reserve a pass.

DEDICATE A BOOK PROGRAM

There are many occasions, birthday, anniversaries, graduation, or just because you want to show you care, when you need to find the perfect gift for that special someone. The Cranbury Public Library has that opportunity for you, one that can be shared with all who use the library, our “Dedicate A Book” program.

Make a donation of $20 or more to the Friends of the Cranbury Public Library and we will purchase a book in a category that you may choose, fiction or non-fiction, adults or children’s. Remember there are also books or music on CD or tape, as well as videos and DVD’s available to choose from. WE will place a bookplate on the inside cover with the recipients name, the occasion and the date.

To take advantage of this opportunity please pick up a form at the Library.
